Kate Logvinyuk
Pianist / Piano teacher / Accompanist
Ms. Logvinyuk has more than ten years of unique working experience as a piano teacher and accompanist. She has been graduated from the best music universities in Russia and also has studied in the United States of America. Ms. Logvinyuk has a great experience of performances as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative pianist. Kate is a winner of numerous international music competitions.
Since her childhood, she has shown an interest in music and demonstrates bright musical abilities. At age of six, Kate gave her first solo recital where she performed compositions by Bach, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Scriabin, and Chopin. The excellent ear for music, long memory, delicate musicality and perfect virtuosity had allowed Kate many times to win the prizes of numerous Moscow competitions including but not limited to a prize at the New Names Charitable Foundation, and the Y. Flier All-Russian Junior Piano Competition.
Ms. Logvinyuk graduated from music school with honors in 2002, then studied at the State Musical College at the Moscow Conservatory from 2004 to 2008 in the class of Professor Tatyana Dobrovolskaya. In 2008, she entered Gnesins Academy of Music, the class of Professor Grigory Gordon. She graduated from the Academy with honors in 2013. In June of that year, Kate was invited to perform at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival which was hosted in the state of New York where she successfully performed on the stage of Mannes College.
After that, Kate joined Professor Alexander Kobrin piano studio at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University (USA), where she had been working on her Artist Diploma certificate. During her studies, Ms. Logvinyuk repeatedly took part in music contests. Including, but not limited to, the MTNA competition, where she won first place among pianists in Georgia (USA). At the GMTA contest Kate was awarded the Outstanding Performer status. Also, Kate performed at various venues in Atlanta, Athens, Columbus, Morrow (GA), Knoxville (TN).
Since 2016 Kate has been working at Moscow (Russia) as head of the accompanist section and as a piano teacher at the Moscow City United Art School Kuskovo, which has a unique international status for Russia – All-Steinway School. There Ms. Logvinyuk has her own piano studio including 18 students at various levels of training from five to thirty years old. As a person interested in all forms of art, Kate seeks to enhance her professional and educational level and always happy to share her knowledge with students.
In addition to teaching, Kate continues her solo performing career and participates in music competitions. As a result, Kate is the recipient of prestigious awards, and has won numerous prizes in national and international competitions. As part of the chamber ensemble Ms. Logvinyuk performs at famous venues in Russia – in the Small and Rachmaninov’s Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the House of Composers, Pavel Slobodkin’s Concert Hall and many others. The programs of her performances are very vast and cover three and a half ages of the piano music.
